Chief Risk Officer, Internal Control, and Compliance Officer at CPR Asset Management

Viet-Hung Tran was appointed Chief of Controls on August 1, 2026. In this role, he oversees CPRAM’s Risk, Compliance & Internal Control, and Legal departments.

Previously, he was a senior risk management executive with extensive experience in asset management and financial services across Europe and Asia. He notably served as Global Head of Structured and Guaranteed Products Risk Management at Amundi. From 2015 to 2018, he was Chief Risk Officer at Amundi Hong Kong, where he was responsible for risk and performance oversight across the business.

He began his career at Natixis Asset Management as a Project Manager, handling front-to-back projects and operational implementation, and at GL Trade as Head of the Support Engineers Team.

Viet-Hung Tran holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Paris Dauphine University (Paris IX), is a CFA charterholder, and holds the PRM designation from the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association.
