CSSF (Commission for the Supervision of the Financial Sector)

The CSSF is the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier based in Luxembourg. It is the competent authority for the prudential supervision of credit institutions, financial sector professionals, collective investment undertakings, pension funds, SICARs (Venture Capital Investment Companies), securitization undertakings continuously issuing securities to the public, regulated markets and their operators, multilateral trading facilities, payment institutions, and electronic money institutions. It also supervises financial instrument markets, including their operators.
