GIPF (General Purpose Investment Fund)
General Purpose Investment Funds (FIVG) are funds that can take the form of mutual funds (FCP) or investment companies with variable capital (SICAV).
Due to their specific investment and management rules, they cannot benefit from the European passport and therefore cannot be freely marketed within the European Union.
They can be open to all investors or reserved for a certain category of investors. If they are open to all investors, depending on their strategy and the asset classes they operate in, these funds must adopt one of the classifications defined by the AMF. They prepare a key investor information document (KIID) specifying the classification to which the UCITS belongs.
