FCPR (Venture Capital Mutual Fund)
What is an FCPR?
An FCPR (Fonds Commun de Placement à Risque) is a fund whose assets are composed of at least 50% participatory securities or securities issued by companies established in the countries of the European Economic Area.
These are companies that are not listed on a regulated or organized market, whether French or foreign, or shares of SARLs or companies with an equivalent status in their country of residence. Some exemptions are allowed for the calculation of the 50% investment quota.
An FCPR must be approved by the AMF.
